Text | Nola F. Ash, 93, of Monett, passed away Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, in Cox Monett Hospital, Monett.
She was born June 12, 1917, in McDowell, the daughter of Edward C. and Myrtle (King) Koch. On March 12, 1936, in Cassville, she was united in marriage to Warner Ash, who preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 2005. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law. Survivors include: one son, Gary Warren Ash and his wife, Sandra, of Joplin; one daughter, Bernita Delmore, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; one brother, Verlon Edward Koch, of Morrisville; two sisters, Jewel Moudy, of Walnut Grove, and Reva L. Brown, of Cassville; six grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She received her education at Victory Rural School and Job High School. For two years, she and Warner resided in McClave, Colo., and then moved to Monett for four years. They purchased a farm at Cassville near her parents, remaining there until 1994, when they moved to Aurora. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Carolyn McNabb will conduct the services. Burial will be at Sparks Cemetery, Butterfield. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. |
