| Text | Barbara J. Arnold, 65, Washburn, died Friday, November 19, at Freeman East Hospital, Joplin.
Mrs. Arnold was born July 1, 1937, at Washburn, the daughter of Ernest and Dorothy Day Laney. She was a graduate of Washburn High School and worked at Fasco Industries for 16 years. She worked at Tyson's for 30 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Washburn. She married J.C. Arnold on September 3, 1955, at Cassville. Survivors include two sons, two daughters, one brother one sister, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were four sisters, four brothers and two grandchildren. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. today, Monday, at the first Baptist Church of Washburn with the Reverend Glenn Erwin officiating under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home, Cassville. Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter with Charles Chrisman leading the committal service. |
