Text | Mary Lou Nelson Armstrong, 76, of Cassville, died yesterday, September 20, at her home.
Mrs. Armstrong was born May 23, 1928, in Exeter. She was a graduate of Exeter High School. She had owned and operated a laundry in Washburn and Cassville and Town and Country and Jimmy's IGA in Washburn. She also raised quarter horses. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Washburn and Cassville Senior Center. She married Franklin P. Armstrong, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Doyle Armstrong of Exeter; one brother, Vern Nelson of the state of Missouri; one sister, Ruth Brown of Exeter; one grandchild, one great grandchild, one step-great grandchild, and one niece. Services will be 1 p.m. tomorrow, September 22, at the Church of Christ in Washburn. Burial will be in Washburn Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, September 21, at the funeral home. |
