Obit For Franklin Pierce "Frank" Armstrong
Headline OLD TIME WASHBURN CITIZENS SUCUMBS FOLLOWING SEVERAL MONTHS ILLNESS
Text The many friends of Frank Armstrong, of Washburn, will be sorry to learn that he passed away at his home at that place, Monday morning, following an illness with heart trouble, which extended over the past several months.

Mr. Armstrong was about 68 years old and was well know throughout that section. He has resided at Washburn for many years and was an extensive property owner in that section. For several years, Mr. Armstrong has been a stockholder in some Oklahoma banks and is said to have accumulated quite a bit of wealth from oil lands in the great oil region. He leaves a wife and other relatives to mourn his death. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon after which the remains were laid to rest in the Washburn Prairie cemetery.
