Text | Died of consumption, Dec. 31, 1806, Mrs. Ellen Armstrong, age 27 years, and on Saturday night, Jan 2, 1897, the Lord saw fit to call her darling babe home to heaven, where it can ever be with its mother. She leaves a husband and one child, behind and a host of friends and relatives to morn her loss. She was an affectionate companion, a loving mother and a kind neighbor, liked by all who knew her. She professed faith in Christ about four years ago and united with the Church of God, of which she had since lived a member. The remains were laid to rest in Stubblefield Cemetery, Jan 1, after services by Rev. John Thomas.
