Text | Another summons has been issue from that glory land, calling another good citizen and woman to that sweet rest, so bountifully promised to those who seek it and live the life on earth.
Mrs. R. B. Archibald died Saturday morning, June 26, at Columbia, Mo., of acute indigestion and the remains were shipped to Purdy, and interred there Monday. The family formerly resided at Purdy. She enjoyed the high esteem and respect of all her acquaintances. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She and her husband, the late Dr. Archibald were married at Peirce City, while her husband was studying medicine with the late Dr.'s Maynard and Hansard. She leaves one son and daughter, Arthur of Columbia, and Mrs. Ed Ambrose of Cameron, MO. |
