Text | SPRINGDALE -- Glen Gail Antle, 87, died Feb. 19, 2004, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Aug. 20, 1916, on a farm near Exeter, Mo., to James and Susie Antle. He earned a master's degree in horticulture at the University of Missouri. He served in the Army during WWII in the European Theater with the rank of captain. He was an extension agent for a number of years with Michigan State University at Benton Harbor, Mich. He moved to Springdale 10 years ago.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Aimie, in 1992. Survivors include his wife, to whom he was married Jan. 8, 1994; one son of Bozeman, Mont.; two daughters of Lincoln, N. C. and Flossmoor, Ill.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Springdale. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter at 2 p.m. Visitation will begin at noon Monday at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the family present from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. |
