Text | Mrs. Lou Anderson, wife of W. A. Anderson, of the Oak Ridge locality, died Friday morning, December 19, of paralysis. Mrs. Anderson had been enjoying the blessings of health until Wednesday of last week when she was stricken with a stroke of paralysis. On Tuesday of last week she visited her daughter, Mrs. C. P. Murphy, north of town and seemed to be in the best of health. Her illness was unexpected by relatives and friends and from the beginning she was unconscious of her aliment until death.
Mrs. Anderson was about 70 years of age and was born in Tennessee. About the age of sixteen years she in company with her parents, went to Texas and resided until the year 1893 when she became a citizen of this state. Besides her last husband, Mr. Anderson, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. O. P. Murphy, three other children, having proceeded her to the grave. She had lived in the vicinity of Cassville for a number of years and was an excellent citizen, a loving wife and mother. Her body was laid to rest in the Oak Hill Cemetery Saturday at 11 a.m. after short funeral services conducted at the grave by Rev. J. W. Ennes. |
