Text | Melissa Ann Allman was born Nov. 11, 1854 and departed this life Jan. 27, 1929 at her home in Niangua, Mo. Age 74 years, 2 months and 17 days.
She professed Christ as her savior when a young woman and joined the Christian Church. In 1895 she joined the Brethern Church. She lived her entire life as a good and true Christian. She was a lover of small children, was a mother to them but had none of her own. She was united in marriage to W. J. Allman September 23, 1880. She is survived by her husband and many relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mike Montgomery and Rev. John A?gabright at the Brethern Church in Fairview. Pogue's Undertaking went to Niangua and brought the body to Fairview. The body was laid to rest in the Dice Cemetery under their direction. |
