| Text | An abstract of the obituary for Estel James Aldridge, states that he was age 81, and of Cassville, MO. He died January 7th at his home. Mr. Aldridge was born January 4, 1922, in Mano, the son of Grant M. and Verga Reed Aldridge. He was a graduate of Exeter High School. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He owned and operated Main Street Barber Shop in Cassville for 32 years, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of Mill Street Church of Christ in Cassville where he was a deacon. He married Geraldine Brooks on August 26, 1944, in Rogers, Arkansas. Survivors include two daughters, two grandchildren, one great grandchild, four step-grandchildren, and four step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester Aldridge and Elery Aldridge. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, January 10, at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter with Wayne Deffenbaugh officiating under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, January 9, at the funeral home. |
