| Text | Elery Grant Aldridge died yesterday, December 3, 2002 at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield, MO, following a long illness. Mr. Aldridge was born November 18, 1926, in Mano, the son of Grant M. and Verga N. (Reed) Aldridge. He was a graduate of Exeter High School, a Navy veteran of World War II, and a dairy and beef farmer. He was a Baptist. He married Margaret "Elinor" Haddock on December 25, 1949, in Golden, MO.
Survivors include three sons, one daughter, one brother, Estel Aldridge of Cassville; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Lester; and one nephew. Services will be 1:30 p.m. tomorrow, December 5, at Williamson Chapel in Cassville with Rev. Russell Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today, December 4, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
