Obit Irene Reno
Irene Marjorie Reno, 80, of Monett, died at 3:10 p.m. yesterday, August 12, at her home following a brief illness.
Mrs. Reno was born November 10, 1921, in Pulaskifield, the daughter of Antone and Seraphina Cendroski Jaster. She moved to Monett in 1964 and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett and the Parish Council of Catholic Women.
She married Frank Charles Reno Jr. on June 30, 1941, in Pulaskifield, and he preceded her in death September 4, 1964.
Survivors include one son, Tom Reno of Springfield; four daughters, Barbara Boursheski and Mary Szydloski, both of Pierce City, Pam Beard of Springfield, and Marjorie Holman of Arlington Heights, Illinois; 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Reno on November 15, 1988, and Donald Reno on April 21, 1991; two daughters, Elizabeth Reno and Linda Reno; and one brother, Clarence Jaster.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 15, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett with Father Allan Saunders officiating under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. tomorrow, August 14, at the funeral home with visitation to follow until 8:30 p.m.
