Phyllis Long's notes: 1842 - date doesn't match 1900 census date. 1915 Charles wife’s maiden name was Teofila (Kowalski). Death Certificate: Karl "Charles" Pozniak born Feb. 1844 Poland. Wife was Teofila Kowalski born Apr. 1843 Poland. His daughter’s death certificate has her mother's name on it. On his death certificate his mother’s maiden name was also given as Kowalski. 1900 Census Purdy Village, Barry, Missouri, gives Charles with wife Teofila age 57, and sons Bartholomew, Andrew, Mike, and Martin.
