Phyllis Long's notes: This one was first listed as: JASTER, Apolunis (BELKA) - Czer 15, 1865, Poland - Lipca 10, 1943, Rural Pierce City, Barry Co., MO Her death certificate gives her birth date as June 15, 1864 and her death date as July 10, 1943. Her father is listed as Frank Jaster, born Poland, and her mother as Kate born Poland. Clayton Belka, Pierce City, MO, was the informant. Pierce City is in Lawrence County but the data reads that she living and died in Barry County. She had lived there for 61 years. Should be listed Apolunis maiden name STETNER, married first BELKA, second JASTER. 1920 Census she is married to Peter Jaster with Anna Belka age 16, born abt 1904, as stepdaughter to head of household, Peter Jaster. Apononia is also named on her daughter Anela Pozniak’s death certificate as maiden name Stetner.
