Bartkoski, 98, of Monett, died September 19 at Monett Health Care Center following a long illness. Mrs. Bartkoski was born June 1, 1904, in Purdy, the daughter of Andrew and Anna Younker Renkoski. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett. She married Tony Bartkoski in 1926, and he preceded her in death in 1969. Survivors include one son, Alfred Bartkoski of Sterling, Virginia; one brother, Eddy Renkoski of Kansas City; five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, three sisters, and five brothers. Funeral Mass was 10 a.m. today, September 23, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett with Father Allan Saunders officiating. Burial was in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery at Pulaskifield under the direction of Wessell Funeral Home of Pierce City. |
