Lemuel, being the only surviving son of Daniel and America that married and had children, married Elizabeth B. Blevins in Harrison County, Missouri on Oct. 3, 1875. The death certificate reads that the cause of death was a self-inflicted gun shot wound. He was a son of James Madison Snider and Mary Josephine Moore, both born in MO. He was married but his wife's name wasn't given. S. N. Snider, Cato, MO, was the informant. - Benjamin C. Snider, age 23, married Oma Mae Stockton, age 17, on Oct. 5, 1913 in Barry Co., MO. Christopher Snider married Sarah Wilson on Feb. 9, 1851 in Barry Co., MO. He filed for his CW Pension on July 21, 1890 and Sarah filed for her widow's pension on May 3, 1907. - June 15, 1907, Saturday, Cassville Democrat - The heirs of the late Christopher Snider have amicably divided the estate of their father, John C. Snider purchased nearly all the shares in two farms, amounting to 330 acres. J. A. Brooks purchased the Geo. Snider farm near Cato, for $1,800. Bud Snider secured the 45 acres on Flat Creek, and Jas. Snider a 135 acre farm on White River. Wiese at findagrave.com: George Wilson is believed to be buried in the Snyder (Snider) Cemetery on his land that was located in a "U" shaped bend of Flat Creek. He was originally from Tennessee and one of the first settlers in his section of Mountain Township in Barry County, Missouri. His wife, Mary Pauline Moore, died in 1863 and is buried in the Snyder Cemetery. Their son, Leroy S. Wilson, was the first to officially hold deed to the land that included the cemetery, but later sold the property to his father. Research Note: Son of James Charles Wilson and Emeline Worley Curtis. His wife was Mary Jane (Baze) (Wilson) Augst, died in 1931 in Spokane, WA. Her Obit: Funeral services for Mrs. Louis Augst were held at the Presbyterian church Friday afternoon, Rev. A. J. Ungersma in charge. Interment was made in Fraternity Cemetery in Waterville. Mary Jane Baze was born in Barry County, Missouri, May 16, 1864, and died March 10, 1931. She was married to John R. Wilson, April 8, 1880. To this union 8 children were born: Della May, James P., Arthur R., Minteon J., Lillian V., Robert C., Claude L., and Lola Bell Wilson, and was left a widow October 24, 1900. She came to Washington and was married to Louis Augst, April 10, 1902. To this union were born four children: Ada Viola, Lyda Thelma Margaret, Alice Pearl and Hattie Louise. Three children passed on before, and nine children are left: Mrs. Louis Miller, Brewster WA., Mrs. Homer Bourgeois, Zillah, WA.; Mrs. Roy Painter, Winthrop, WA., Mrs. Frank Woodside, Spokane, WA., and Alice Augst, Withrow, WA; Arthur Wilson, Buena, WA., Minteon Wilson, Toppenish, WA., Robert Wilson, Tonasket, WA., Claude Wilson, Withrow, WA and her husband, Louis Augst, Withrow, WA. Leroy's father was originally from Tennessee and one of the first settlers in this section of Barry County, Missouri. His mother, Mary, died in 1863 and is buried in the Snyder Cemetery. Leroy Wilson, was the first to officially hold deed to the land that included the cemetery, but later sold the property to his father.
