He was married some years ago to Miss Clyda Hamblin and to this union was born one daughter, Helen, who with her mother, is left to mourn the departure of a good husband and father. May God comfort the bereaved. - In giving the relatives of the late Frank Roller in another item, we failed to mention his eldest sister, Mrs. Jack Foster of Oklahoma and Mrs. Felix Weaver of Denver, Colo., also there is another sister, Mrs. Ida Kyle, who moved to the Pacific coast some 25 years ago and has not been heard from for abut as many years. | Photo Wilma Fields Note Donna Cooper Online Obit Phyllis Long |

ROLLER, Ura Jane (MORGAN) | Jan. 1, 1852 Clay Co., MO |
Mar. 22, 1907 Prairie Creek, Benton Co., AR |
Research Note: Ura Jane was a daughter of Thompson Morgan who came to Barry County from Clay Co., MO. On the Barry County site, in the obit section there are two obits for her - one from the Cassville Republican and from the Rogers Democrat. It is assumed that she is buried by her husband in this cemetery. Cassville Republican, April 6, 1907 - On last Saturday, 23 inst, Mrs. Ura Jane Roller, of near Rogers, Ark., died after years of suffering from cancer. Her maiden name was Morgan and she was born in Clay County, MO, Jan 1, 1852, hence she was 55 years, 2 months, and 23 days old. She had many relatives and friends in this county, among them the Fawvers, Morgans et al. She was brought to a cemetery a few miles south of Seligman, where the writer officiated at her funeral at 2 p.m. on the Sabbath. The services were held under a large cedar tree and was listened to very attentively by the relatives and scores of friends. Owing to the fact that a daughter and her family who live at Coffeyville, Kan., had not arrived, Mr. Roller, the bereaved husband decided to stay in the cemetery with the corpse on Sunday night with the fond hope that the daughter might arrive on Monday morning's train. The writer presuming that the interment took place on Monday morning. The case was one that was calculated to excite pity even in the hard hearts. Mrs. Roller was a devoted Christian and had longed for death to relive her from the great suffering she had endured for many months before the final hour came. Exeter, MO, Mar 26, 1907, P. St. Clair. Rogers Democrat, Apr. 10, 1907 - Miss U. J. Morgan was born in Clay Co., Mo. December 30th, 1852; married to Henry Roller September 1876. To them were born nine children, four of which preceded the mother to the better world. Four of the remaining ones were present at the time of her death, one daughter arriving soon after she died at her home on Prairie creek, March 22, 1907. She was a Christian from childhood, a member of the M. E. church, a loving wife and mother. Together with neighbors and friends we extend our sympathy to the bereaved ones. Henry's obituary on the Barry Co site, has him buried at Roller Cemetery, Gateway. He had re-married to Ida B. Morris in 1921. Ida is buried there, as is Henry's parents, Joshua and Nancy Pendergraft Roller. |
