Research Note: Resident of Belton, Missouri, formerly of the Mano, MO region. He was the son of John Mason and Clydia (Berry) Williams. He was one of fourteen children. Jim graduated high school in 1967. After high school, Jim would go on to serve our nation proudly in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam War, from 1967-1971. A truck driver by trade, but a Christian above all. On August 1, 1998, in Eagle Rock, Missouri, Jim was united in holy matrimony to Korbie Rowe Hamilton, and together they would preach the gospel of Jesus Christ for more than 25 years. Jim obtained a degree and ministry credentials through the esteemed Rhema Bible College and graduated May of 2008. As day center managers for Heart and Hand Ministries in Belton, Missouri, Jim and Korbie served homeless and low-income families across the region. She moved to Neosho, MO where she graduated from High School and lived for many years. She received her BS in Education from Pittsburg, KS. Wilma was an outstanding teacher for 42 years. She began her tenure in the rural schools, including Jay Bird. She influenced many lives during her teaching in the rural schools and within the Neosho Public School System, retiring in 1983. Wilma married Stanford Elgin Williams on January 6, 1940 in Neosho, MO and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2002. Wolfenbarger, of this city died Monday morning, Nov. 22, 1920 after an illness of six weeks from inflammatory rheumatism. Almedia Anne Crawford was born March 20, 1865 in Dallas county, Mo. When a young girl, she with her parents moved to McDonald county and was married to J. P. Wolfenbarger March 2, 1879. To this union was born twelve children all of whom are living. They are: James C. of Lebanon, Oregon, Charles W. of LaJunta, Colo., Millard M. of Sedan, N. M., Bryan of Wheaton, Dewey F. of Greybull, Wyo., Willie Josephine Hodge of Kansas City, Mo., Kate Bowers of near Bethpage, Inez Houser of Southwest City, Elsa Hughes of near Stella and Twilla and Opal of Wheaton. Mr. and Mrs. Wolfenbarger moved to Wheaton in Jan. 1917. Previous to that time they had lived in McDonald and Newton counties and were well and favorably known over this section. Funeral services were conducted at the M. E. Church Tuesday at one o'clock by Rev. J. B. Redd of Rocky Comfort and internment made in the Rocky Comfort cemetery. Not only has the family suffered the loss of one they held dear, but the community as a whole will miss one of it?s best women.
