Lee graduated from La Junta High School in 1957 and went to studied auto mechanics in Denver. Shortly thereafter, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served his country honorably for six years. Lee worked for Blalock-Koon Chevrolet before owning and operating Lee's Auto Service in Ridgley until he retired in 2001. In August of 1961, Lee married Sharon Duncan. To this union, two sons were born. Sharon preceded Lee in death. He later married Dorothy Blinzler on July 12, 2014. JONES, Jasper Oliver Nov. 5, 1843 May 1929 SSW: Elizabeth A. - Research Note: Wheaton Journal, May 30, 1929 - This obituary was very difficult to read. - Jasper Oliver Jones was born November 5, 1843 and died May ?? at the age of 85 years, 6 months and ?? days. Practically all his life was spent in the Oshkosh community near Stella, Mo. He served his country as a ??? ???? during the Civil War. He united with the Church of Christ some 50 years ago and remained a true Christian until death. January 15, 1871 (MO Marriage records have Mar. 5, 1871) he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Boswell. To this union were born seven children. His wife preceded him in death about 39 years ago. One child died in infancy. The other children were with him during his sickness and death. They are: Jim and Noah Jones of Rocky Comfort, Belle Sanders of Granby, Jeanie ???? of Seminole Okla., Allie Taylor of Fairview and Mal? Jones at home. He also leaves one brother, E. J. Jones of Fresno Cal., 26 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Uncle Jas., as he was known to all, was a good man of sterling qualities, a good citizen and as a neighbor was unexcelled. Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mr. Strickland in Rocky Comfort and interment made in the Rocky Comfort Cemetery under the direction of the Pogue Undertaking Company. - Another Photo Online Obit

He apparently awoke ill and fell dead in the bathroom. Arthur Jones of Rocky Comfort, MO was the informant on the death certificate. - Lewis Jasper Jones, age 25 married Elaine Kay Schrahl, age 19, on June 26, 1969 in Wheaton, Barry Co., MO. Her death certificate shows the same information for cause of death. Daughter of George Schrahl and Dorothy Weese. Terry Jones of Rocky Comfort, MO was the informant on her death certificate. She was born in OK and buried at Enid Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, OK. - Former Enid Girl Dies in Missouri - The bodies of Mrs. Elaine Kay Jones, age 20, and her husband were found Tuesday morning in their home in Rocky Comfort, MO, by his brother. Both died as a result of asphyxiation, apparently from a gas stove in the room. Jones body will be interred in Wheaton, MO. Funeral rites for Mrs. Jones will be Friday in the Fossett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Jones was born in Enid and moved with her family to Moore in 1959. She and Jones were married in 1969, and made their home in Rocky Comfort. Obit

Lewis Jones of Rocky Comfort, MO was the informant on the death certificate. - Funeral services for Noel Webster Jones, 36, Rocky Comfort, were conducted today at 2 p.m. at the Rocky Comfort Baptist Church. The Rev. Mervin Spencer officiated. Burial was in the Rocky Comfort Cemetery under the direction of McQueen Funeral Home of Wheaton. Mr. Jones took his own life about 7:30 p.m. Thursday night.
