Research Note: He was a son of Joseph Allman and Mary Shoe. Mrs. Florence Allman was the informant at the same address as given for George. 2540 Park Ave. His wife was Bertha Florence Gillman, died 1950, buried at Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. - Wheaton Journal, August 2, 1928 - George Allman who was born and raised in and near Wheaton died Sunday morning July 29 at his home in Kansas City. He was 63 years old. The body was shipped to Wheaton Tuesday. Mr. Allman leaves a wife, five daughters and two sons, all living in Kansas City, except Hattie Allman, who lives at Granby. He also leaves four brothers, Elmer and John of Wheaton, Sam of Hominy, Okla., and Will of near Springfield, and two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Ruppert and Addie Allman of near Powell. He was married to Bertha Florence Gillman, December 15, 1889. Unto this union were born seven children, Harris Allman of Granby, MO. Mrs. Murriel Biggs, Mrs. Anna Cooper, Vernie, Eula, Edna, and Juanita Allman all of Kansas City. Also two grand-children, four brothers and two sisters survive him and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his departure. SSW: John T. - Research Note: Cassville Democrat, September 8, 1917 - Mrs. John Allman, aged 37 years 4 months and 19 days, from near Wheaton, died Saturday night, of typhoid fever, leaving her husband and several children to mourn her passing. She was a highly respected citizen and enjoyed this respect of everybody. Rev. J. S. McQueen of this city, conducted funeral services at the Christian Church in Rocky Comfort, Sunday and the remains were interred in the cemetery there. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. Utter of Rocky Comfort and was a member of the Christian Church.
