Simon Jones filed a quit-claim deed to "The Public for two acres of ground located where the Quaker Cemetery is. The property deeded over on Aug 27, 1879 was to be set apart for a "Friends Meeting House and burying grounds."

One interesting item: The heavy iron eye bolt - one inch diameter steel rod bent into a 4 inch eye and firmly anchored in a concrete block at the east end of the burying ground is the burial site of a Quaker girl.

Church is now not associated with Quaker Cemetery - is just near the location.
