Text | Mrs. Wilson Lane died Wednesday, May 21, at the Lane home west of Purdy. She had been in poor health for sometime and a few days before her death had a stroke of paralysis which resulted in her death.
The funeral services were held Thursday and interment made at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery southwest of Purdy. She was 68 years old and was the mother of a large family and a women held in highest esteem by a large circle of friends and acquaintances in may parts of the county. She leaves husband and six children living. The children are: U.S. Lane of Purdy, Sherman of Thomas, New Mexico and Mrs. Pete Harper, Mrs. W. D. Cowherd, Mrs. T. J. McKee and Mrs. Andy Cowherd, all of near Purdy. |
