Lynna Beeson Spellman on Facebook, Places and Things Remembered said, "Behind the wagon, I think there are three people in white bonnets or caps. I can only see one face and when I enlarge the photo, I still cannot tell who that might be. Standing in the back of the wagon, I think, are Clara Mildred Pilant and James Arthur Pilant." and "The two older boys would be Fred and Aubrey but I won't guess which is which. The girl on the horse looks like a picture of young Ruth that I have seen. I am guessing that Myrl is holding baby Lewis, so Mildred would be the girl in the back and Arthur would be the little boy beside her."

Donna Cooper's Note: Lynna, I only see eight children. I suggest that the baby is Marjorie C. Pilant, born Jan. 4, 1922. The next youngest child is a boy, probably Joseph Lewis Pilant, born Oct. 16, 1919. Then after him and the next youngest is a boy standing in the back by older girl, so he might be James Arthur Pilant, born Aug 29, 1917. Then look - there are four girls. Aubrey Albert Pilant, born July 20, 1908, Artie Myrl Pilant, born Sept. 11, 1910, Nova Ruth Pilant, born Sept. 24, 1912, Clara Midred Pilant, born, July 7, 1915. Now there are two boys left so Frederick Franklin Pilant, born Nov. 21, 1906, maybe driving the horses. Then Aubrey Albert Pilant, born July 20, 1908 might be by the wheel. Artie Myrl Pilant, born Sept. 11, 1910 has breast, so if she is 13, that would be about 1923. She must be the one in the bonnet."

Loretta Vinson said, "The one standing is Aubrey and the one in the wagon is Fred (my Dad)"
