Research Note: He was the son of Lloyd and Evelyn (Patton) Reed. He was a 1969 Cassville High School and subsequently joined the United States Army in 1974. During this time Bobby served in Korea, Germany, Japan, and Operation Desert Storm where he was awarded the Bronze star as well as many other medals and honors. On February 24, 1979, Bobby married the love of his life Carolyn Baggett while stationed in Hawaii. In 1995, Bobby retired from the Army as a Master Sergeant, going on to work as a service manager for John Deere dealership in Freistatt, Missouri. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by one brother, Gary (Cotton) Reed; and sister-in-law, Beverly Reed. Private family services with full military honors will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Cassville. Until the 4-k Ranch disbursed, Booger and his son Cotton had taken it over and made it a successful operation. Booger was currently working at the Shockley Cattle Ranch in Stark City. After being together for 10 years, Booger married Annette "Gracy" Robertson on June 12, 2022, in Fairview; she survives. Additional survivors include 5 sons; a special niece; three sisters; two grandsons; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and hundreds of friends. Also preceding him in death were his parents; one grandson, Mason Lowe; two brothers, Gary (Cotton) Reed and Bob Reed and one nephew, Douglas (Booger) Reed. Surviving are one daughter; two grandaughters; four great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters. Maynard attended school in Cassville, Missouri graduating from Cassville High School in 1960. At the age of 12 he started helping his father process meat at Reed's Butchering and Custom Processing. In 1970 he opened Reed's Processing Plant that closed in 1993 when he started working at Ramey's in the meat department where he always greeted everyone with a smile. After Maynard retired from his many years of meat processing his main enjoyment was his grandchildren. He never missed a rodeo or softball game, he was their biggest fan. He also enjoyed coon hunting where he won many awards with the coon dogs he trained. Maynard was saved at the age of 66 and baptized at the age of 70 at Corinth Baptist Church. She served as a pastor's wife while raising their children and serving the Lord. She and Doyle supported the Navajo Indian Mission in Old Mexico and Arizona.
