He loved raising mules and horses, creating western art and was always there to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He taught me about treating people with respect, and how important family is. Dad and I graduated the police academy together in 1993. It was his inspiration that helped me to choose law enforcement as my life's career, and I'm so glad that he was there to share it with me. He encouraged me to obtain my certification as an Emergency Medical Technician, to follow my dream to become a police officer. He taught me how to fish, to drive, to do just about everything. He helped me through my divorce, helped me to pay my bills when I lost my job and was struggling to get by. Dad meant so much to so many people, he was always there to help anyone who needed a hand.
