SSW. Linda J. - Research Note: He was the son of Boyce and Dorothy (Hinnant) Crumpler. He lived most of his early childhood in North Carolina, later moving with his family to Newport News, Virginia, where he graduated from high school and served an apprenticeship at the Newport News shipyard as a tool and die maker. Rex enlisted in the United States Army in 1944, joining the Army Air Corp and served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. On October 17, 1975, he was united in marriage to Linda Brooks in Paxton, Illinois. Upon his discharge, Rex was a Civil Service employee with the Department of the United States Air Force as a machine shop foreman at Chanute AFB, and retired after thirty-three years of service. Following his retirement, he and Linda moved to Cassville in 1979 to make their home. Survivors include one son, Edward Davis of Cassville; three daughters, Charlotte Greene of Carmel, Indiana, Sharon King of South Gate, California, and Mary Davis of Big Bear Lake, California; two brothers, Walter Davis and Jim Davis, both of Cassville; one sister, Ruth Powell of Spanaway, Washington; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar and Samuel; two sisters, Mary Wiley and Lily O'Neill, and one great grandchild. Services were 2 p.m. today, November 10, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Brother Tom Casady officiating. Denton passed away at his home in the Oak Ridge locality northeast of Cassville, Saturday, Sept. 18, age 68 years. The cause of Mr. Denton's death was lung trouble from which he had been a sufferer for many years. J. T. Denton was born in Miller County, Missouri in 1847. He came to this county about 30 years ago and located near Purdy. Later he moved to the farm on which he died, northeast of this city. He leaves a widow and eight children, four sons and four daughters, all but two being present at the funeral. Mr. Denton was an excellent man and is spoken of in highest esteem by those who knew him and who had lived neighbors to him. He had been for many years a member of the Christian Church and had lived an exemplary Christian life. The eight living children are: J. L.; W. E. and J. P.; and Mrs. Belva McCann of Joplin; Q. Research Note: He was the son of Billy Don England and Kimberlee Dawn (Norris) (England) Greenlee. He attended school in Northwest Arkansas for a short time, and in 2005 he graduated from Cassville High School. At the age of 16 he commenced working in the funeral business and on the farm of Jim Fohn. He then went on to work for Glad Products in Rogers, Arkansas. In 2006 he joined our family at the White Funeral Home. During this time he was also the owner-operator of The Cutting Edge Lawn Service in Cassville. In 2010 he accepted the opportunity for advancement for his family with Marck and Co. in Cassville and Rogers. On June 23, 2007 Billy Jack was united in marriage to Emily Jo Hughes of Wheaton. To this union one child was born. Billy Jack loved being a father and enjoyed hunting and fishing trips with his family. He attended the Wheaton United Methodist Church and was a Mason of Pythagoras Lodge #383 in Cassville. He was a compassionate and kind person who will be greatly missed by all he encountered. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Clovis Essary, Burle Essary and William Essary and six sisters, Alene Rainwater, Marcine Terry, Maxine Eaton, Pauline Friend, Darlene Greenway-Wheeler and Norma Dahms. Dennis grew up in Cape Fair and received his education at Galena, Missouri, where he attended high school. He served his country in the United States Army.
