My daddy was about 10 years old at this time (center front), about 1944. More than likely, Uncle Ray Roller took the photo. He was the photographer in the family. Ida Brown Hawk was Grandpa Brown's older sister & then his mother passed & his step mother had another son who died young & 4 daughters that lived long lives. His dad's obituary said there were 14 children? It's so messed up.

The automobile probably belonged to Ray & Beulah Roller. The Roller's & the Shrum's lived in California & made road trips to Missouri every year or 2 & Uncle Ray did like his luxury cars to travel in. Patty Robbins Camp thinks that the photo was taken at Roaring River since they were known to have many family picnics there.
