Later, she was employed as a secretary for the Monett School District. She later worked at Modern Variety and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monett. On March 18, 1949, in Eureka Springs, AR, Betty Stockton married Raymond Yancey. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of forty-three years, Raymond Yancey. Yoakum and Malinda Margaret Cannon both born TN. Mrs. W. A. Smith of East St. Louis, IL was the informant on the death certificate. It was an accidental death.
