| Text | Robert R. Teel, a prominent farmer of South of town, died Tuesday night, June 25th, at 11:40 o'clock. He had been ill a long time with a rare malady, Hodgkin's disease, and his death was not unexpected. He was 67 years old.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the New Site Church, Elder J. T. Brattin preaching the funeral sermon. Mr. Teel leaves a wife and nine children - Mrs. Elmer Browning, Mrs. Alvin Rumbaugh, Mrs. Zona Holmes, Mrs. Chas. Russell, Mrs. Rich Goodnight, Ora Rich, Leonard and Will Teel of Colorado. All the children but will Teel were with their father at the time of his death. Mr. Teel had lived on his farm south of Monett a number of years. He was a Christian man and a good neighbor and his death is a great loss in the community. Monett Times. |
