KADAR, Sophia (KLOSTERMAN) June 15, 1919
Rittman, OH
Feb. 20, 2020
MO
Research Note: She is survived by her two children, 3 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. As a youth, she endured the Great Depression, WW II, as a new mother married to Army Air Corps, serviceman, E. J. Kadar. Her devotion to married life, family, and the LDS church remaining thoroughly uncompromised, she managed countless challenges and upheavals of home during dozens of transitions to U.S. States (sometimes multiple times) including, Mississippi, Connecticut, California, Utah, Ohio, even in the mid-60's to the U.S. Pacific Island Territory of American Samoa. There she accepted a request to be Art Instructor at the LDS managed, Mapusaga HS. Having no formal training she embraced it, as she did all challenges, with an adventurous spirit, passion, patience, and an engaging interest and kindness towards all. She remained natural and true whether life found her stooped over gleaning a field crop, tending to bedpans in care facilities or hospital, or, sitting cross-legged on a royal guest mat chatting with the High Chief of Samoa. She had employments with several Adult Care Homes including in Utah in the mid-'60s, and Neosho, MO., late 70's-early '80s. She also worked as a nurse's aide at Payson Hospital (Utah) in the early '70s. With her sister, Mary's progression of dementia, Sophia, made regular visits to her care facility in Verona setting an example for other caregivers. While in her 80's she attended her estranged husband's deathbed massaging his feet daily. Buchanan Funeral Home

He first married Lucy Elizabeth Baze on Apr. 4, 1886 in Barry Co., MO and second Pearl Stribling. His third wife was Mary H. - 1900 census his wife is Elizabeth, age 32, born 1868. - Obit for Elizabeth: Mrs. W. J. O'Neil - Died in Colorado - W. J. O'Neil returned from Colorado a few days ago with his two children and entered them in the Monett public schools. Mr. O'Neil left Barry County, with his wife and children last October and went to Rawlings, Wyoming. In a short time Mrs. O'Neil was taken dangerously ill with pneumonia and died November 24, at Loveland, Colorado, where the family had moved from Wyoming. The remains were laid to rest at that place owing to the dangerous illness of one of the children, which prevented bringing the body to Barry County, the scene of her childhood. The deceased was born in Barry County, at Flat Creek, in 1868 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Baze. In 1886 she was married to W. J. O'Neil, since which time she has resided for the most part in Colorado and Wyoming. To this union two children were born, now ages 12 and 13 respectively. The deceased came of a family of three sisters and three brothers, all of whom, with her parents, survive her. From girlhood she manifested those traits of character that invariably commanded esteem and love from all who knew her. She was, from early womanhood, a hard and consistent worker in the M. E. Church. Her life was one of purity, devotion of home, husband and children. The sorrow stricken husband and children have the sympathy of many friends and acquaintances. At the funeral in Colorado the sermon was delivered from the twenty-third Psalm, the pall bearers were members of the Modern Woodmen Lodge. - Another Photo Death Certificate
