Good Mother Passes Away


Mrs. Katie Hall, wife of V. C. Hall, died at their home near Seneca, Mo., on Wednesday evening, Dec. 4, 1918 of pneumonia.

She was 42 years old and leaves surviving of her immediate household, husband and six children. They are Homer Hall of Cassville, Mrs. Nellie Steele of Seneca; two sons who are now in the service, Luther who is in France, Willie in Camp Cody, New Mexico, and Edith and Ralph who are left at home. She also leaves a brother, Earl Hutchens, of Baxter Springs, Kan.

All of her children were present for the funeral except the two boys who are in service.

She was a Quaker, was converted 25 years ago at the Quaker school house near Cassville.

She was laid to rest in the Mt. Olive Cemetery near Pioneer.
