Research Note: The cemetery log book reads that B. H. Yoakum was buried in the 1st section, in block 22, in lot 1,in grave 3. No dates or any other information is given about him on the log book. His death certificate reads that his wife was Grace (Redman) Yoakum, deceased. He was widowed and had been married two times. He was about 61 years old. The cause of death was apoplexy, arteriosclerosis. J. M. Yoakum, and Malinda Margaret Cannon, born near Tazewell, TN, were his parents. He worked as a government laborer at Camp Crowder. Research Note: Photo shows location of grave. Anna was buried in the first section, in block 15, in lot 1, in grave 2 and has no stone. There is nothing about when she died or who purchased the lot given on the log book. Her death certificate reads that the cause of death was chronic diabetes. Archie P. York was listed as her husband and she was age 51 years, 11 months and 10 days old when she died. Her father's name was ____ Henry and all the other details about her parents was unknown to the informant. Blankenship of Purdy, MO, was the undertaker. She passed away at the Park Place Care Center in Raytown, MO, on Oct. 23, 2006. Annartia was born May 11, 1924, in Monett, MO and in 1943, she married her first husband, SSGT John J. Donnini, of Wilkes Barre, PA. They shared successful ownership of Italian restaurants in both Monett and Rockaway Beach, MO, in the 1950's and '60's and then they divorced in 1966. He preceded her in death in 1976. She married second Joe T. "Smokey" Young, in 1968 and moved to San Bernardino, CA. He retired from the Santa Fe Railroad after 35 years of service, and preceded her in death in 1988.
