Blennersassett's spirit was wafted to her bright and eternal home, as a reward for a well spent life on earth. She was always ministering to the upbuilding and comforting those that needed spiritual comfort in time of sore bereavement. She went to the assistance and aided the sick, practicing practical Christianity, so much of which is needed in this life. Many young people of Monett, say that she had been a mother to them, in the way of influencing for the better things. Many years ago, she and Wm. S. Blennerhassett were married and had lived a happy married life. No children blessed this union, but she had been a mother to an adopted niece, who will always remember her loving association and influence for good. Rev. Dr. Francis Toms of the Christian Church, very feelingly conducted funeral services at that church in Monett, Wednesday at 2 p.m., amid a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends. He referred to her splendid life, character and disposition to do good on all occasions.
