Research Note: Son of Cher Pao, Mai Lor(deceased biological mother), and Chao Xiong(step mother). He leaves behind three sons and five daughters. He was also a proud Grandfather to nineteen grandkids. Yia grew up in Laos and moved to a refugee camp, Bahn Vibnais, Thailand in 1978. There he worked as a silversmith. In 1980, Fue Yia married Houa Lee and divorced in 1981. In 1982, Yia married his wife Ka Yia Vang. In 1989, Yia arrived in Akron, OH from Thailand. Shortly afterwards he moved to Stevens Point, WI and then to Milwaukee, WI. Yia earned his CNC machining certificate and worked as a CNC machinist for 12 years. Research Note: Services for Yer Yang, age 103, of Pierce City will be held from Friday, August 7, 2020, until Sunday, August 9, 2020 at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter. - Yer is the youngest daughter of Pa Ze Vang. She has two older sisters and two brothers. Her parents passed away when she was very young. She grew up living with her siblings and relatives. In 1936, Yer met our Beloved Father Nhia Thong Yang. Together, they have seven children, two daughters and five sons. In July of 1992, Yer and her husband, Nhia Thong Yang immigrated to the United States of America to live with their three sons in Madison, Wisconsin. in 1997, the family remained in Madison, Wisconsin until they moved to Southwest Missouri in 2004-2005. Yer loved to garden, enjoyed traveling, and spent quality time with her children and grandchildren. Yer will be remembered as a loving and caring mother to her children and a wonderful sister to her siblings. On Feb. 8, 1911 she and R. O. Yarnall were married and two children, Wilma and Ruth were born and they with the husband survive her. Research Note: She was the daughter of Clovis and Jessie (Henderson) Thomas. On October 10, 1954, she was united in marriage to Paul Yarnall. Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers and a son-in-law, Mike Ramser. Jane was a life-long resident of Barry County, attending grade school at Stoney Point and graduating from Exeter High School. During her life she worked at Fasco Industries and was also owner/operator of Barry County Florist. For twenty years, she and Paul raised chickens and worked on the farm together. If Paul and Jane weren't working, they were always together. He always said "She was good Preacher's wife." She was a member of Roaring River Baptist Church for twenty years, where Paul was Pastor and she assisted him. Research Note: He was the son of Erskine and Jessie (House) Yarnall. On October 10, 1954, he was united in marriage to Jane Thomas, who preceded him in death on January 8, 2020. Also preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Mary Lou Duckworth; two brothers, Charles and Jimmie Yarnall; one son-in-law, Mike Ramser; one brother-in-law, Robert (Bob) Duckworth; one sister-in-law, Willabee Yarnall and Frances Leonard, who lived with Paul and Jane for five years and was like a daughter to them. Paul graduated from Cassville High School in 1953 and Central Baptist College in 1960. He went on to receive his Masters Degree in Education from both Drury University and Missouri University. For thirty-five years he taught school, was a school counselor and principal in various area schools in Barry County. While he enjoyed education, his passion was his ministry. Paul accepted Christ at the tender age of eight and he surrendered to the ministry at the age of 18. Paul retired from the ministry at Roaring River Baptist Church after pastoring there for twenty of his sixty-seven years in the ministry. During those sixty-seven years, he pastored nine different churches. Paul and Jane gave their lives to serve Christ and their church. He spent several years serving as a chaplain at the local hospital and nursing homes. Throughout his life, Paul farmed, raised chickens and was a member of Missouri Farm Bureau, being an honorary board member since 2005. Research Note: Daughter of Rolland Otto and Clara (Higgs) Yarnall. - Cassville Democrat, Jan. 4, 1934 - Front Page of Paper - POST MORTEM HELD AFTER QUICK DEATH OF FINE YOUNG LADY - Miss Ruth Yarnall Passes Away Following Short Illness Thursday At Home Of Her Grandparents - A post-mortem examination was held over the body of 14-year-old Ruth Yarnall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Yarnall, at the Koon Funeral Home, here last Thursday, following her sudden death that morning. This splendid young lady became ill just a few days previous to her passing and it was thought she was a victim of sleeping sickness but the post mortem revealed that her death was to due to tubercular meningitis. Miss Ruth was apparently enjoying good health until just a few days previous to her passing when she fell and her condition puzzled the splendid medical aid that was summoned to her bedside. The post mortem was held by Dr. George Newman of Cassville, Dr. Poor of Wheaton, and Dr. Mitchell of Monett. She was from southern stock, being the granddaughter of Texans, Jefferson Davis and Melissa Jane (Robbins) White, and Joseph Lafette and Lavada Albina (Ledford) Medearis. Dori had 18 aunts and uncles and, as a child, she regretted that her family was seldom able to travel to Texas to see them. Dori had four older brothers: Granville, John, Bill, and Wayne. She lived with her family on a farm near Mound City, Missouri. Dori graduated from Pickering High School in 1939, and then she went to Barnes Secretarial School in Kansas City, where she graduated in 1940. Dori married Bill Lynch on May 21, 1941, at Maryville, Missouri. The family lived in Broken Bow, Nebraska, and Mission, South Dakota, before settling near Denver, Colorado, in the 1960's. Dori and Bill divorced in 1966, and he passed away in 1979. Dori married John Yedinak on October 28, 1967, in Clear Creek County, Colorado. They lived in Golden and Paonia, Colorado, before moving to southwest Missouri, where they eventually settled in Exeter. John passed away on September 4, 2004. As a widow, she missed him for ten days short of ten years. Living to the age of 93, Dori endured many losses. She grieved the passing of her husband, John, her oldest son, Bill, her second son, Bob, her parents, and all four of her brothers. - Dorene G. White, age 20 of Pickering, MO, married William L.
