Challie left an indelible mark on each of those who had the privilege to know her. A member of First Baptist Church, Cassville, Challie lived a life rooted deeply in her faith, a beacon of love and strength through her unwavering commitment to Jesus Christ. As a wife, she was a true partner, embodying love and devotion that deepened with each passing year. Her marriage was a true example of the power of love, built on a foundation of mutual respect and a shared faith. As a young mother, Challie owned and operated a day care which allowed her to be a stay-at-home mother as her two girls were very important to her. As a mother, she was a guiding light, nurturing her now adult girls with endless patience and boundless love. Shortly after moving to Cassville, Challie started working for the school, where she held many positions. While working at the school she impacted and loved thousands of students and made lasting friendships. Challie was an active member of her church. teaching in the children's ministry, hosting Sports Crusaders, coaching Upward Basketball, and assisting with Vacation Bible School. Challie is a loved Granny of two precious girls, Parker, and Rylee whom she adored immensely and spoiled them as a grandmother should. Her wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support shaped their lives in ways that will endure forever. Many friends and family have firsthand experience in knowing how good a cook Challie was. She enjoyed home grown fruits and vegetables, canning, baking pies, and sharing all the love that went into her cooking. Challie also enjoyed cross-stitch, camping, canoeing, playing Skip-Bo, reading, and especially craft nights with her friends. Her friendships were a testament to her warmth and generosity. She had an incredible gift for making everyone around her feel valued and loved, always ready with a listening ear or a kind word. Her home was a place of comfort and joy, where all were welcomed and cherished. Hearts are heavy with her passing, but solace is found in the legacy she leaves behind-a legacy of faith, love, and friendship. Her life was a reflection of the goodness of God, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew Challie. Let those who know her honor her memory by carrying forward the lessons she taught us: to love deeply, to live with purpose, and to hold our faith close. We find peace in knowing that Challie is now in the embrace of her Savior, surrounded by eternal light and love. | Fohn Funeral Home L.Pearce FindaGrave |
