Herbert W. Susott Birth: Jun. 15, 1908 Warrick County, Indiana Death: Oct. 3, 1980 Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma HERBERT W. SUSOTT - Herbert W. Susott, 72, formerly of Evansville, died at 12:30 a. m. Friday at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, Okla., after a long illness. Susott, a 1926 graduate of the old Elberfeld High School, was a former airline pilot. He was first employed as a bookkeeper for Citizens National Bank. He later joined Interstate Airlines, which became American Airlines, flying mail between Atlanta and Nashville. At American Airlines, he flew airliners until his retirement in 1968. He had a total of 26, 514 hours flying time. He married Yvonne Cleo Lawson on 9 Feb 1935.
