Christian Ellinger Fawver, born in Frederick County, Virginia, and his wife Mary Ann (Spiegal), Seligman area pioneers, are buried here along with other members of their and other early families. Christian built a grist mill near Seligman in 1882. It stayed in the family for nearly 100 years. After Mary died, Christian married Lucy Morgan on February 12, 1888.

Christian and Mary Ann had the following children: Joseph C. Fawver, Christian C. Fawver, John M. Fawver, Mary Ann (Fawver) McCollum, Lydia V. (Fawver) Collier, and Amanda C. (Fawver) Morgan.

The only stone standing is that of Christian Ellinger Fawver. The others are scattered around in pieces. Many are laying up against a tree. Since there is no way to determine where the burials are, they are in alphabetical order of the stones that have been located. The cemetery is grown up, and it is quite a hike to get to it.
