DAVIS, Betty Ray (HALL) | Aug. 23, 1948 Cassville Barry Co., MO |
Oct. 15, 2023 Nixa Nursing & Rehab, Nixa, Christian Co., MO |
Research Note: Daughter of Earl and Dorothy (Hilton) Hall. Betty was a 1965 graduate of Cassville High School. She worked for Juvenile Shoe Factory in Aurora, Missouri, for 21 years and retired after 28 years as a CMT for the Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Aurora, Missouri. Betty had an incredible talent for taking care of others. She understood the value of unconditional love, accepting others as her own and bringing joy no matter where she went. Her spirited personality never slowed her down, finding delight in the simplicities of life: her family, beauty around her and the fullness life had to offer. Through these qualities, she was able to make an impact on many that will be deeply engraved. On Jan. 21, 1966, she married Charles Davis in Cassville, Missouri. Betty is survived by her husband, of 57 years; one daughter; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and four sisters. Then in 1960 after a few years of marriage and two children later they moved to Jenkins, bought a farm from a lady named Jewel Periman and both Don and Una remained there for the rest of their lives.
