When I travel I look at old photos in antique shops, and if I find a name, I write it down and make note of where I found it. I went to Ste. Genevieve last weekend and found the following death cards with photographs in a bin in a shop called FIRST SETTLEMENT COUNTRY STORE AND ANTIQUES, 233 Market St, Ste. Genevieve, MO. In the bin there were two cards labeled as follows:
In a quick research this am, I found that they settled in the Nishnabotna, Atchison County, Missouri area mid 1800's. Daughters married LANGHENNIG, LAHUE. If anyone would treasure these photos, they can be purchased at that store.
