Inman, Robert Louis, Jr., the son of Robert Louis, Sr. and Carrie Eula (Everett) Inman, was born on April 13, 1931 in Morristown, Tennessee. In his youth, he attended school in Morristown.

In 1978, Robert was united in marriage to Shirley Ann Kain and they made their home in Straw Berry Plains, Tennessee and reared their daughter Janet Lynn.

Robert worked as a farm hand for M.R. Green in Fairfax, Missouri, a painter for Roy Sparks in Tarkio, Missouri, a meat cutter for the Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. Following retirement, he worked at the Dollywood Amusement Park in Tennessee. Robert attended the Baptist Church in Mascot, Tennessee and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He passed away December 30, 2007 at the Roane Medical Center in Harriman, Tennessee at the age of 76 years.

Besides his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife Shirley, who passed away April 13, 2000; one brother Stanley F. Inman and one sister Karen R. Inman.

Robert is survived by one daughter, Janet Lynn Inman, Strawberry Plains; two brothers, Philip Inman and his wife Joan of Shenandoah, Iowa and David Inman and his wife Carol of Anchor Point, Alaska; one sister Merilyn Sprague and her husband Marvin of Savannah, Missouri; eight nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services and interment will be held at a later date, Home Cemetery, Tarkio, Missouri.
There is no family visitation. Open visitation will begin after 9:00 am, Friday, January 4, 2008 at Davis Funeral Home.

Irvine, M. Virginia, the daughter of Robert Samuel and Virginia Lucille
(Woodhouse) Irvine, was born January 30, 1921, in Tarkio, Missouri.

She attended Tarkio High School, graduating in 1938. Virginia then attended Tarkio College for two years, where she later received her Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters. She was employed at Commerce Bank in Kansas City and later with the New England Life Insurance Company, where she worked many years as a financial planner. Her business success was impressive in a time when not many women were in the Insurance industry. She was well respected by her peers and set standards within the industry in Kansas City. One of her favorite fun early jobs was working part time at the Plaza Theater in Kansas City. She was a member of the Soroptimist Club.

Virginia enjoyed cooking and entertaining. She particularly loved dancing and participated in ballroom dancing classes for many years. Travel was another love. She especially treasured her memories of her trip to the Holy Land. She traveled with her parents to California and Hawaii and later she and her father took an exciting cruise to Alaska. After Virginia’s retirement from her career life, she dedicated herself to her church. A devout Catholic, she spent much time in intercessory prayer and ministering to many people in need.

Virginia passed away March 18, 2008 at the Sweet Life Memory Care Center in Shawnee, Kansas at the age of 87 years.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brothers Stanley Irvine and his wife Ruth, St. Joseph, Missouri and Maurice Irvine and his wife Margaret, Tarkio; nieces and nephews, Sue and Gary Richard, Folsom, California, Patty and Sheldon Davis, Fairfax, Missouri, Steve and Eileen Irvine, Tarkio, Larry Irvine and Jeannine Broermann, Tarkio, Regena Irvine, Westwood, Kansas; grand nieces and nephews, Derek and Dawn Davis, Fairfax, Courtney Davis, Fairfax, Lance Irvine, Tarkio, Stephanie Irvine and Chuck Queen, Overland Park, Kansas, Chance and Nicole Irvine, Sophia and Isabella, Omaha, Nebraska.

Irvine, Maurice - Maurice Irvine, the son of Samuel and Lucille (Woodhouse) Irvine, was born February 15, 1925 in Tarkio, Missouri. In his early years, he attended South York country school. His junior high and high school years were spent at Tarkio High School, where he graduated in 1943. During high school, Maurice was active in Future Farmers of America.

On October 19, 1945, Maurice was united in marriage to Margaret Elaine Cloepfil. They lived, farmed, and raised their family on the Irvine family farm east of Tarkio.

Maurice loved farming, gardening and being outside. He was recognized as an Honorary Chapter Farmer, by the Tarkio Future Farmers of America. He was a past member of the Tarkio Rural Fire Department and had served as a Colfax Insurance board director. Maurice was a former member of the York Church and an active member of the Tarkio Presbyterian Church, where he served as Elder and Trustee, and on numerous other committees. Maurice passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Village Care Center in Maryville, Missouri at the age of 84 years.

Besides his parents, Maurice is preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Irvine.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Irvine, Tarkio; two sons, Steve Irvine and his wife, Eileen and Larry Irvine and his special friend, Jeannine Broermann, all of Tarkio; three grandchildren, Lance Irvine, Tarkio, Stephanie Irvine, Overland Park, Kansas, Chance Irvine and his wife, Nicole, Omaha, Nebraska; two great grandchildren, Sophia and Isabella Irvine, Omaha and step grandchildren; brother, Stanley Irvine and his wife, Ruth, St. Joseph, Missouri; sister-in-law, Pauline Wunschel, Ida Grove, Iowa; daughters-in-law, Regina Irvine, Kansas City, Missouri and Kathi Irvine, Aurora, Illinois; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ivy, Lois Margaret Campbell - Lois Margaret (Campbell) Ivy, the daughter of Otho Fay and Gladys Claire (Gigous) Campbell was born January 1, 1927 in Tarkio, Missouri. She attended school in Tarkio, graduating with the class of 1945.

On September 20, 1947, Lois was united in marriage to Marshall Gilbert (Toad) Ivy. They made their home in Tarkio, St. Joseph, Missouri, Omaha, Nebraska, Des Moines, Iowa, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and then back to Omaha. After Toad passed away on October 17, 1999, Lois returned to St. Joseph, and then back to Omaha, where she lived to the present time.

In 1959, Lois was employed by Stockyards Bank as a bank secretary. She retired in 1980 from Norwest Bank, as executive secretary to the bank president. After retiring, Lois worked as a volunteer for E.P.S., in Omaha and later at Heartland Medical Center in St. Joseph. She passed away Monday, January 5, 2009 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha, at the age of 82 years.

Lois was very friendly and outgoing, making lots of friends wherever she lived. She was an avid golfer.

Besides her parents and husband, Lois is preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn M. Hull; brothers, Joseph F. Campbell and Robert F. Campbell; niece, Shirley Fischer; nephew, Steve Campbell; great niece, Cara Cathleen Hull; and her beloved dog, Julie.

Survivors include two sisters, Phyllis Anne Green and her husband, Donald, Sun City, Arizona and Betty Jane Grebe and her husband Jimmie Dale, St. Joseph; sister-in-law, Beverly Campbell, Camden, Alabama; brother-in-law, Dale Hull, Maryville, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Robert Dale Hull, Janet Hull, Larry Campbell, Linda Murdock, Gary Green, Brian Green, Cheryl Smith, Susan Burton, Tim Grebe, Janie Baker, Phyllis Ottmann, Sue E. Smith, Gail Roorda, Michael Ryan, Timothy Ryan, Patrick Ryan, Thomas Ryan, James Ryan, Maureen Howard, Marvin Freeman, Stanley Freeman and Larry Freeman.
