Dear Sister and Nephew and niece

I send you a few lines to let you know that we are all as well as common and all of our friends Except brother Jonathan he has been confined to his room all winter and is still quite poorley tho a littil better. It was my sone Franklin that died he died in Misuria at Elisha Hall.

Aunt Mary Jones is ded.

Inclosed I send you twenty dollars. I paid out twenty nine dollars and fifty cent for ruffin and repars to your house and I have one doller and ninety six cents of your money left in my hands.

Pleas wright as soon as you recieve this.
